Hi John,

Today, I want to take a moment to thank the allies in this community. Pride is a time for celebration, visibility, and love. It’s also a time for deep gratitude. Whether you’ve spoken up when it was hard, stood beside someone when they felt alone, or simply chosen love over fear, you’ve made a difference.

Allyship isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present. It’s listening, learning, unlearning, and showing up again and again with humility and heart.

Now, more than ever the LGBTQ+ community needs allyship. Not just June-allies but year round allies. People who show up, who speak up and who use their privilege or resources to help. It means standing hand in hand and saying no to hatred.

Being an ally doesn’t just mean participating in the parts of LGBTQ+ culture that feels fun, it means being there for the difficult parts. Not just hashtags but meaningful action. Speak up for those who are being drowned out.

I’ve seen so many of you do this, and I want you to know, it matters.
Your support creates safer spaces. Your voice makes it easier for someone else to be heard. Your love reminds others they’re not alone.
