At SMX West last week, 3Q Digital’s senior strategy development manager Madeline Fitzgerald provided top tips for maximizing CPAs on Facebook ad properties. While Facebook cost-per-actions (CPAs) are climbing, advertisers can still make the most of their social ad dollars by breaking down conversion costs into its core components. To lower CPCs, Fitzgerald recommends targeting larger audience pools to scale ad inventory and potentially broadening your campaign segmentations. To improve CTRs, she suggests using relevant creative (bonus points for video content) and including copy that plainly highlights the value proposition (so customers don’t have to hunt for it). In other news, Wipro Digital has acquired Rational Interactive, a full-service digital customer experience company. Rational Interactive will continue to grow and service its clients as it integrates with Wipro, and there are no plans to reduce Rational’s staff. Take note, CMOs: It looks like Wipro is positioning itself to offer more holistic customer experience offerings by attracting execs who are focused on building out their business’ CX efforts.
