This is a cute project using an old tin can and a cardboard tube from a roll of toilet paper. A bit of paint and glue will transform your junk into a mystical creature, carrying your pretty flowers. You can also use this as a pencil or makeup brush holder!

I experimented and cooked 6 ears of corn on the cob in the Crock Pot. I had never heard of anyone doing this but I found out that it works great! It was so good that my husband went back to the grocery store and bought more corn today so I could take pictures and share this idea on ThriftyFun.

I have been making this salad for my family for years! It is a meal by itself with lots of great healthy vegetables and a light Greek salad dressing. It is a big hit at all picnics and BBQs.
