Although an auditor wrote that the behavior appeared to amount to fraud, Alan Kaye moved on in 2019 to become the current provost of LSU's medical campus in Shreveport. TRAGIC SHOOTING: The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a tragic shooting of a 4-year-old boy near Westwego Saturday night, which occurred when someone in the car with Jarion Walker and a sibling fired a gun, killing him.
