Tidy Cord Saver

By tank

The cord to a small appliance placed inside a cord saver made from a hook and a cardboard toilet paper roll. You can purchase command cord bundle strips or make your own cord solution a lot cheaper. I purchased self adhesive hooks. I placed one on the side of my smoothie blender. I took an empty cardboard TP roll and covered it with inexpensive contact paper. I punched a hole in the TP holder and put it on the hook attached to my blender. Then I tucked the cord inside.

Gardener's Floral Gift Box

By Benetta

I want to gift her with a few packets of flower seeds, but I do not want to give only the packets on their own. I found a small unglazed clay pot, which I decided to turn into a themed gift box. The pot can afterwards be used as a floral planter.

Blooming French Strawberry Tart

By attosa

finished Strawberry TartMany of my family members live in France. One thing I look forward to having every time I visit is the classic French fruit tart. It's got a delicate crust topped with a custardy pastry cream (crème pâtissière), with fruit arranged beautifully on top to resemble a blooming flower. I finally learned how to make it myself so I don't have to long for it between visits. It's worth the effort, and I hope you give it a try!
