What is a teacher of Presence? Ultimately, it is anyone who embodies a new level of awareness—or what is sometimes called the awakened state of consciousness.

Given the turbulent times we find ourselves living in, Eckhart Tolle tells us that it is increasingly important for more and more of us to embrace this shift in consciousness—to become teachers of Presence ourselves. This, he explains, is how we will begin to create a new Earth.

The School of Awakening: Becoming a Teacher of Presence

Eckhart's latest curriculum in his renowned School of Awakening focuses on three avenues of teaching Presence:

• In your everyday life: As the timeless state of Presence arises in you, you make a profoundly positive impact simply through your Being—at home, at work, and each moment of the day—through less reactivity, holding space, and deeper love, connection, and kindness.
• In the helping professions: If your livelihood involves a professional offering of service to others—assisting a patient, client, or student, for example—you’ll move toward greater mastery in your chosen field as Presence informs more and more of what you say and do for others.
• In a formal teaching structure: If you find yourself called to offer spiritual guidance and inner wisdom to others through writing or speaking engagements, The School of Awakening will help you develop the discernment and vigilance that such a role requires.
