| WHAT TO EAT | | Tombo Cafe — Matcha All Day. You can get non-matcha-flavored things at Tombo’s three London locations. They sell ramen, poke and sashimi too. But our favorite move is to pop in for a coffee or a milkshake, and obviously you should get the signature green matcha-flavored versions. | SUGGESTED BY: Sophia Akram /Longtime Londoner |
| Milkbomb Ice Cream — Topping Explosion. It’s hard to make ice cream sandwiches innovative, given that they’ve been popular for ages. But Milkbomb managed to do it in the most American way possible: by adding a doughnut. That’s right, this San Francisco spot serves doughnut ice cream sandwiches with a dizzying array of topping options, and they’ll blow your mind. | SUGGESTED BY: /Dessert Fiend |
| Golgappa — Crispy Heaven. Next time you’re in New Delhi, aka India’s street food capital, ask for golgappas, also known as pani puri. They’re little round puffs shaped of flour or semolina, then fried and topped with spicy potatoes or chickpeas and tamarind chutney. The pros eat the whole thing in one bite. | SUGGESTED BY: /Street Food Junkie |

| | WHAT TO WATCH | | Bordertown — Nordic Noir at Its Best. This crime drama about a mysterious serial killer and the family-man detective who’s in hot pursuit was the most-watched series ever in Finland. It’s a beautiful blood-in-the-snow thriller that also explores new dimensions of the genre with an emotionally hefty focus on the detective’s family. Season 2 was released on Netflix for American viewers just a few weeks ago, and Season 3 is reportedly already filming, so soon you’ll be able to see even more blood in even more snow. | SUGGESTED BY: Gary Greif /OZY Fan |
| The Ballad of Buster Scruggs — A Singing Cowboy! The Coen brothers are masters of the modern Western, and they’re in fine form with this one. This collection of vignettes is set in the Old West, featuring stagecoaches, a traveling show, a cowboy guitarist and command performances from Liam Neeson, James Franco and, for some reason, Tom Waits. But to be fair, Waits was born to play a prospector (of course, he also performs one of the songs, though he didn’t write it). | SUGGESTED BY: Rich Burns /Frontiersman |

| WHAT TO LISTEN TO | | Uncover — Cults and Crashes. OK, do you remember headlines about how one of the actresses from Smallville had been involved in a sex cult? That actress was Allison Mack, the cult was NXIVM (pronounced “Nexium”) and you’re about to find out a whole lot more about this completely insane story. "Escaping NXIVM" is the first season of CBC’s Uncover podcast and it’s unbelievably addictive. The host’s childhood friend was a member of the movement, giving this podcast extraordinary access to insider information. The second season, released at the end of last year, goes into the mysterious explosion that brought down Canadian Pacific Air Lines Flight 21 in 1965. | SUGGESTED BY: /Mystery Solver |

| | | Ignore the smell of a gas leak. A food truck in Eugene, Oregon, suddenly exploded Sunday morning while parked outside a local brewing company. Nobody was injured in the blast, which investigators think was caused by malfunctioning gas lines to the propane tank. The explosion destroyed the Buck Buck Food Cart. | SOURCE: UPI |
