Ed Battle is a Denver institution for more than thirty years and a performer whose albums reveal a man who’s lived a few lyrics and lived to tell about it.
Max has performed and recorded with artists as diverse as Dayna Stephens, Simone Shaheen, and Isaac Slade (of The Fray) among others. In this quartet he joins fellow Chicagoans to explore new formats for contemporary jazz improvisations.
