This Week's Podcast DelayThe exciting investment & humanitarian story of Cerro de Pasco
Dear subscribers, The normal time of my Substack podcasts are set for 12:00 Noon New York time on Saturdays. I have made this week’s podcast available at this normal time only to the paid subscribers of J Taylor’s Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks since the content is related to the research I do on behalf of those who pay for my newsletter. J Taylor's Gold Energy & Tech Stocks is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber. However, this podcast will be available to all free subscribers after the equity market close in New York on Tuesday, December 10 at 4:01 PM at which time you will receive a link to the podcast. I will try to keep future corporate interviews scheduled for work week days and plan to get back to the regular Saturday schedule for all subscribers next week when my schedued guest is Frank Holmes of U.S. Global Investors. I have added Cerro de Pasco for coverage in J Taylor’s Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks this week because I believe it has great upside potential from its current share price of US$0.23. But Cerro de Pasco is also a human-interest story. Over the past 100+ years, in quest of riches by some of the richest men on earth, most notable of which was J.P. Morgan. Being oblivious to the future health of the citizens of the Peruvian city of Cerro de Pasco, the operators of the mine deosited tailings and waste rock near the city limits. The mines at Cerro de Pasco created great wealth for Peru as well as foregin investors. But over time acid from the sulfide materials contained in the waste rock near the city was leached into the drinking water leading to a major health problem. Recognizing that there still was a huge amount of silver, base meals and gallium in the dumps, Guy Goulet, whom I interviewed in my podcast not only saw an opportunity to profit from producing a massive amount of metals from the Cerro de Pasco dumps, but also the chance to remedy a major health problem for the citizens of Cerro de Pasco. If you are not a paid subscriber, you will be able to listen to this podcast at 4:01 PM New York time on Tuesday, December 10. I Hope you will tune into my podcast then. And if you like, I would encourage you to learn more about the Cerro de Pasco story by visitig the company’s website here Cerro de Pasco.
