This week's category: Feel the heat

The winner for this week's Sunshots theme, "From Above," is Mary Braman for her photo of Koi, an ornamental variety of domesticated common carp shot in Tokyo.

Bill Bitman is this week's runner-up for his photo of Winston, the adult male gorilla at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. The photo was taken with a Nikon D300 and a 400mm lens.
