This week on Harvard Art Museums from Home: MoMA’s Jane Pierce delved into the Harvard Art Museums collections to look at early 20th-century photographs of student life at the Hampton Institute—a school founded in 1868 for recently emancipated African Americans in Virginia. And as a reminder, registration is open for the following Art Study Center Seminars at Home: Shades in Black and White—American Portrait Silhouettes on Friday, July 24, and Sketches in Clay—Gian Lorenzo Bernini’s Terracotta Models on Friday, August 7.
