Dear John,
As you gather with family and friends to watch Super Bowl LIX—cheering for your favorite team, enjoying great food, and celebrating the excitement of the game—there’s a heartbreaking reality happening across America.
Large-scale events are the ideal environment for child sex traffickers.
In fact, last year, NCMEC’s Child Sex Trafficking team provided assistance to law enforcement in Las Vegas to recover 13 children being trafficked. Among them was a young girl lured from another state to be trafficked near the event. Within hours, the NCMEC team found her picture and information in an online escort ad. With this critical intelligence, law enforcement rushed into action, safely recovering her before she could be further exploited.
Because of supporters like you, these children were safely recovered. But not every child is saved.
At NCMEC, we're working tirelessly to combat child sex trafficking. We operate a 24/7 hotline, provide critical resources to families and law enforcement, and educate communities about online safety and prevention. We can't do it alone—we need your help.
The Reality Is Alarming: - The average age of a child sex trafficking victim is just fifteen years old.
- 1 in 7 missing children reported to NCMEC last year were likely victims of child sex trafficking.
- Child sex trafficking knows no boundaries—NCMEC has received reports of child victims across all 50 states, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico.
Your support can help NCMEC assist law enforcement to identify traffickers, recover children who may be exploited, and connect them with the resources they need to heal. No child should ever be for sale —because every child deserves a safe childhood. Make a Game-Changing Donation Now |
