Friend,

When Primus Moore, a 70-year-old high school football referee, learned his kidney cancer had spread to the bones in his right leg and ankle, he was told that amputation was his only option. He was devastated and terrified.

Luckily, Primus’ physician referred him to The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where exciting immunotherapy advances are giving patients new hope. Using a combination of the drug nivolumab and surgery, our doctors saved Primus’ life — and his leg.

Please support MD Anderson today to help give more people like Primus hope for better outcomes.

Today, Primus is grateful he doesn’t have to give up doing what he enjoys most. “I’m not as fast as I used to be, but I can still run up and down the field,” he says.

MD Anderson is a leader in innovative treatments like immunotherapy, but we need your support to stay at the forefront of promising new options for patients.

Please make your Annual Fund gift today so we can save more lives — and end cancer forever. Thank you.

Yours in Making Cancer History®,
