See the works of 'Lithuania's greatest artist' More than 100 works by M.K. Čiurlionis — widely credited as being 'Lithuania’s greatest artist' — are on display in London right now. Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, who was a composer as well as a symbolist painter, was claimed by some to have created abstract art before Kandinsky, making him a bona fide pioneer of the art world. Dulwich Picture Gallery's current exhibition, M.K. Čiurlionis: Between Worlds, showcases paintings and drawings from the artist's short but prolific career. The works explore spirituality, philosophy and our relationship to the universe. The exhibition is only open until March, so book now to make sure you don’t miss it. Image: M.K.
