They moved to Florida to start over after natural disasters. Now, they're reeling from another hurricane.

Hurricane Ian devastated parts of Florida where Latino growth has been rapid, in part because new arrivals fled other climate disasters or extreme violence and poverty.

"He lost absolutely everything," Rosa Rivera said of her husband Guillermo, who moved to the mainland U.S. "starting from zero" after Hurricane Maria decimated Puerto Rico. Now, he and his family have to start over again.
