| | Data cap quest How likely are you to go through 1.2 terabytes of data with your in-home internet? If there was a data cap on your usage — if you had to pay a penalty to going over a certain limit — would it change anything in your life or would it be business as usual? Would you change your plan and pay more for unlimited data, or switch internet services providers? For Comcast customers in the Northeast, this is all hypothetical for 2022. But 2023 and beyond, it could be a reality, just as it is for Comcast customers in the rest of the country, and many other internet service providers.
