Hi John,

This is my last email about how I cope during difficult times. This one is about hope and how you can choose to hold onto hope.

As fond as I am of forests, I know that they can be scary. They’re often included in fairy tales as terrifying places where danger waits behind every tree.

But no matter how deep you go into a dark forest, there is an opening when you look up.

All I Need is a Small Clearing is about the certainty that there is always an opening where light and beauty are waiting for you. There will always be stars in the sky and they will never lose their magic.

Neither should you.

If you are deep in the forest right now — find that clearing where you can gaze up in wonder at how far you’ve come. Let it fill you with hope for the future.
