A WORD FROM OUR HOSTS ALEX: We ended 2019 on a high note at AM2DM. This week, we covered some of my favorite topics, too. I spoke with Gretchen Carlson and Julie Roginsky about their efforts to fight NDAs, we unpacked J.K. Rowling's cursed tweet and how it's transphobic, and we talked to the editor of Christianity Today about his call to remove Trump — mere minutes after the President tweeted about the publication.
ZACH: Oh, hi there. The year is pretty much DONE. And wow what a year. This time last year, I was living in Los Angeles and could have never dreamed that within 365 days I'd be uprooted to New York City and hosting a show every day that I have grown to love dearly.
As I reflect on everything that has happened — from presidential candidates coming by to Helen Hunt learning about her gay tornadoes — I am overwhelmed with gratitude for our incredible production team and viewers who show up to every day and make this show what it is. Next year, we have so much planned and while I am so READY for a vacation...I am also anxious to get right back to it with all of you. Happy Holidays!
