Theragun Unveils the Next Generation of Massage Guns

Theragun, the percussion massager that has become a brand name on par with Kleenex for the most committed athletes you know, is branching out.

The company behind the power tool for your body is becoming Therabody, a "tech wellness company" which promises to "use cutting edge technology and research to deliver scientifically validated natural products and services," according to a press release. Along with four new percussion therapy guns, Therabody is introducing an entire line of organic CBD products, under the moniker TheraOne.

The four new devices—five, counting a new vibrating foam roller—will be the main attraction for fans of the brand looking to up their recovery game. Along with Theragun's new Pro, Elite, Prime, and Mini hardware, there's now a software component, which the company calls Smart Percussive Therapy. The Pro, Elite, and Prime guns are all Bluetooth-enabled (with handy display screens added to the familiar design) and there's a new app that allows users to personalize their experience instead of just blindly gunning their muscles. New pre-loaded routines will be available via connected app, which are based on different types of activity levels and routines and designed by Theragun founder Dr. Jason Wersland.
