The British claim that Sticky Toffee Pudding is the most popular dessert in the world. If it's not, it should be. It's a dense pudding cake loaded with dates and topped with a rich caramel sauce. We usually serve it with caramel whipped cream.
And we're serving it in the store tomorrow--free, of course.
It can be even better in the summertime. I love it with fresh fruit. See the one made with fresh peaches. But you can use raspberry or check out the pineapple coconut recipe. You can make it with zucchini or grated apples or even candy bars!
We started our love affair with sticky toffee pudding years ago. We have a mix now and have experimented a lot.
You can use the mix, our recipes, or create your own concoctions.
You can make these as cupcakes, as a cake, or--as shown above--bake them in ramekins. You can switch the fruit.
