Cleveland.com reporter Nikki Delamotte shot to death in Northwest Ohio: Nikki Delamotte, 30, a culture reporter for cleveland.com whose passionate storytelling and kindness left an indelible mark on her community and newsroom, was found shot to death Monday in a suspected homicide in Wood County. Delamotte and her uncle, Robert J. Delamotte, 67, were found dead at the uncle’s trailer in Perrysburg Township, about 10 miles southeast of Toledo. Delamotte’s death was mourned in Cleveland as family, friends and colleagues praised her for her kindness, professionalism and ability to tell stories that highlighted the city's diversity.
