Happy Tuesday. We’ve got lots of great art for you today. AX Mina takes us into an exhibition on mandalas in Buddhist art at The Met, complete with a giant, mandala-like installation that visitors can enter. Moving from Tibet to Europe, Michael Glover explores the work of “prodigiously talented” Renaissance painter Parmigianino, and his 16th-century masterpiece “The Madonna and Child with Saints John the Baptist and Jerome.” In News, Staff Reporter Isa Farfan looks at reactions to Luce, the Catholic Church’s mascot for its 2025 Jubilee. As Farfan discovers, not everyone loves this little cutie. And we wrap up our NYC Housing Stories series with Noah Fischer’s poignant comic about being displaced from his Brooklyn brownstone. And make sure to check out our January Art Crossword puzzle! We rely on your support to keep Hyperallergic independent and bring you the best in arts journalism.
