| Mature Grits Opelika, United States 5 January, 2025 My siblings threw my parents away several years before my father passed away - it hurt both of them but did not surprise me at all. When the money pit closes, the relationship sometimes ends. In the long run, my parents (and I) didn't miss anything. | Reply • 2.9K 77 • Share |
| | | Yogo1999 Vegas, United States 4 January, 2025 There are always two sides to a story. That being said, I understand where Mr. Markle is coming from. My brother and his wife decided three years ago to cut contact with his side of the family. My elderly mother is hurting, but you go on. Wishing Mr. Markle a better and happier future wherever he goes. | Reply • 1.1K 54 • Share |

| | John Kidderminster, United Kingdom 31 December, 2024 Richard, what have the majority done to get knighthoods and peerages? For example, Jacob Rees Mogg. Most of us outside the London bubble are ordinary people doing the best we can to get by. We manage on what we’ve got, do our best to be kind to others and we get on with our lives. Scrap the so called Honours System. | Reply • 382 6 • Share |
| | | Catbythetail Harwich, United Kingdom 31 December, 2024 Just an extension of Labours perks and gift ethos for pals. The value of so called honours, particularly knighthoods, has been devalued over the years with back scratching and people receiving them for doing their day job. Those that do deserve it, such as devoting years of dedication in charitable work are often overlooked because they don’t move in the right circles or don’t have tv celebrity status. | Reply • 768 24 • Share |
