Meet Bob Galivan and Lynn Yuhr |
Bob Galivan discovered kumihimo by accident after taking a class with Adrienne Gaskell almost eight years ago. From that initial class, he became fascinated with the beauty of the structures that could be created using a few lengths of fiber. |
Lynn Yuhr is a retired geologist who has always had a love of nature. Since 2000, her spare time has been filled with hand-crafted arts such as making jewelry, creating art journals, book binding, and jumping into mixed-media that often uses nature as a focal point. |

Every year, jewelry makers from around the world submit stunning original designs in many different categories in these juried competitions. Finalists are displayed at the Bead&Button Show and a People’s Choice Award, along with a $500 Fire Mountain Gems gift certificate, is given to the overall favorite. Check out the photos on FacetJewelry.com and cast your vote for your favorite piece. Voting is open until Friday, June 7, and winners will be announced on Facebook and Facet! |
