The Sunday Round-Up | August 7, 2022 Greetings! I hope you had a great week and that the upcoming week is even better. If you were traveling by air in the U.S., Canada, Europe, China or Australia, then chances are you were held back. Yesterday, in the U.S. alone, over 7,000 flights were delayed and it looks like we're heading down that path again today.
According to FlightWare, Chicago O'Hare, Newark and Chicago Midway have the dubious distinction of being the top 3 airports in the world today for cancelations. LGA, JFK, DEN, BOS and Toronto are also in the top 20. So pack your patience.

Another Smart Use For Smart Tags (And How to Never Forget Where You Parked)
You probably know that I've been recommending you pop an inexpensive smart tag in your checked luggage, just in case the airlines lose your bags. I also keep one hidden in my carry-on in case it gets stolen, so I can at least track down the remnants after they steal the valuables. Reader and contributor Melissa, who recently traveled to Paris, said: "It has been 10 days since we landed from a direct flight from Paris to LAX on Air France and we still do not have our luggage. While I was in Paris, I read Johnny Jet’s advice about buying AirTags or other tracking devices, which we regret not doing beforehand."
Well, reader Joe S. has another great use for these handy smart tags. He says: "At your recommendation, I purchased smart tags for our luggage for a trip to Ireland. They worked great and we had no problems with our luggage. But when searching for my car in the parking lot at the airport, I said to myself, "Why did you not place a smart tag in the car so you could walk right to your car?" I could easily have put one of the smart tags that I had placed in carry-on luggage in the car and easily found the car. Next time."
