The wrap up of our Double Header vs Fijian Drua (W) and Waratahs (M) at GIO Stadium
The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies have retained the Dan Vickerman trophy once again after an emphatic 40-16 victory over the NSW Waratahs on Saturday night. A tight first half tussle was broken just before the interval, when Harrison Goddard scored his first try in Season 2024. From there, it was one way traffic with the Brumbies running away with the game off the back of tries to Rob Valentini, Corey Toole, Charlie Cale and another perfect night with the boot from Noah Lolesio. The ACT Brumbies Women's suffered their first loss at home this season, going down against a strong Fijian Drua side in torrid conditions at GIO Stadium. In a closely fought battle, the Drua pulled away after a tight first half, taking the spoils 20-7. |
