Michelle Hunter tells us what we need to know. Investigating the mayor: It looks like a federal investigation into Mayor LaToya Cantrell and some of her associates is picking up steam. Gordon Russell and John Simerman report that the feds have been asking questions of some of the campaign contributors in recent months. Reopening an icon: One of New Orleans’ best-known restaurants, Willie Mae’s Scotch House, has been closed since it was damaged in a fire in April.
