The week ahead
Look out for live coverage, starting on Monday with the second leg of Sheffield United's Championship playoff semi-final with Bristol City (8pm, all times BST). We'll also have updates from the second semi on Tuesday (also 8pm) when Sunderland take a 2-1 lead against Coventry into their return leg.

Starting on Thursday, it's the second major of the men's golf season: the USPGA at Quail Hollow. We'll have rolling coverage from around 12pm every day through until a winner is crowned on Sunday evening.

There's a double helping of Premier League football on Friday evening, with Aston Villa v Tottenham (7.30pm) and Chelsea v Manchester United (8.15pm). And the latest round of the County Championship begins on Friday morning (11am) too.

On Saturday, we'll have men's FA Cup final coverage as Crystal Palace do battle with Manchester City at Wembley (4.30pm), while the women's final pits Chelsea and Manchester United against each other on Sunday from 1.30pm. The F1 circus rolls on with the Emilia-Romagna GP on Sunday as well: we'll have lap-by-lap coverage from 2pm.

… there is a very good reason why not to support the Guardian

Not everyone can afford to pay for news. That is why our website is open to everyone.

But – if you can afford to do so – here are three good reasons why you might consider becoming a Guardian supporter today:

1

Your funding means we can be completely independent

2

High-quality, trustworthy journalism is a public good

3

You can support us however you like

Help power the Guardian’s journalism at a time when misinformation is rife online and good news can be hard to find. It could be a one-off payment or a regular monthly amount of your choice. Thank you.
