| | It's one thing for someone in your family to criticize your holiday plans. Maybe your dad is upset because he doesn't think you're spending enough time at home, or your cousins are critical about your choice of vacation spots.
But for Rod Stewart to weigh in? That's another thing entirely.
It's not immediately clear why the singer weighed in on Meghan and Harry's plans to spend Christmas away from the Royal Family. But he did, in an interview with the Daily Mail, and he made it clear he doesn't approve.
Whatever your holiday plans look like, it's worth it to take a moment to be grateful that — presumably — Rod Stewart hasn't publicly criticized them.
Have a great weekend, royal watchers! |

| | | | There's absolutely no way we'll ever know definitively if this is true, but we really, really hope it is.
According to E! News, the royals do a white-elephant gift exchange on Christmas Eve, where they trade jokey, inexpensive presents with one another. One year — and once again, we're keeping our fingers crossed that this actually happened — Harry chose to give one lucky person a shower cap that pessimistically proclaimed "Ain't Life a Bitch." The recipient? None other than Queen Elizabeth herself. |
