Nearly 32 million personal files with sensitive data have been exposed

Documents were temporarily accessible via an online database

Field service management business ServiceBridge is reportedly at the center of a huge data breach involving 32 million personal files.

According to analysis by security researcher Jeremiah Fowler, the non-password-protected files exposed in the breach were made up of contracts, invoices, and agreements that contained full names, addresses, and partial credit card numbers.

The information was publicly accessible, with no security authorization needed, for an undisclosed amount of time, and there is no official confirmation on who may have accessed it, Digital Trends reported. The files go back 12 years and are linked to multiple industries in Canada, Europe, the U.S., and the U.K. ...

Protect your home for less: Chamberlain MyQ smart garage security camera

What makes this such a great security camera for your garage and home? The Plaud NotePin may be one of 2024’s most practical AI gadgets

After the disappointing Humane AI Pin and the Rabbit R1, let’s hope this AI device fares better

The new AI-powered Plaud NotePin isn’t making any fancy claims about being a smartphone replacement. Its more modest intention is to simply let you record stuff when you command it to with a button press.

The diminutive device looks like a capsule, and you can wear it as a pin via a clip on your shirt, as a necklace, or on your wrist as a band.

Plaud is pitching the $169 NotePin as a companion for recording interviews, meetings, classroom lectures, or any other conversation you deem worth saving as a digital file. Dive into Digital Trends’ article to find out where the AI smarts come in ...

Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 review: better audio for the active set

Headphones enable you to listen to music and other content while also staying aware of sounds in your environment

Digital Trends has just gone hands-on with the OpenRun Pro 2 open-ear headphones from Shokz and found them to be a decent bit of kit.

Designed primarily to be worn during workouts, the $179 OpenRun Pro 2 are also a compelling alternative for those who simply dislike earbuds or over-the-ear headphones.

The review praises the Open Pro 2 for their improved audio (finally, bone-conduction headphones with half-decent bass!), better battery life, and easy to use controls. But it cautions that those wearing glasses might want to try out the headphones for comfort first as the stems of the specs have to rest on top of the OpenRun Pro 2 ...

Terminator Zero pays homage to its gritty sci-fi roots while tackling AI fears

Netflix premiered its first two episodes at Anime NYC, and the full season starts streaming today

After watching the first two episodes of Terminator Zero and listening to key figures speak about their experiences making the show, Digital Trends’ Jess Reyes described it as “a modern Terminator adaptation that appropriately leans into the series’ hardcore sci-fi roots while also creating something standalone.”

Showrunner Mattson Tomlin highlighted the horror elements from The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day that influenced the anime, but it’s worth noting that Terminator Zero is not a continuation of the original film series in which Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the iconic cyborg assassin.

Adding an extra layer of intrigue is the way Terminator Zero purposefully plays with the idea of AI and how humans interact with it ...

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 to feature a new version of Nuketown

During the Call of Duty: NEXT event on Wednesday, a screenshot of the Sandhouse map showed Nuketown buried in sand

Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will have a new version of Nuketown called Sandhouse, Game Rant reported.
