| | | | After a transfer from my home in Brittany, I meet up with Capucine in Saint-Gaudens. We made our way to the start village, where I met up with my two support staff, Florence and Mathieu from ASO, who took great care of me.
At the start village, I met some very friendly former champions and we took souvenir photos with each of them. We follow the race route, where there are lots of smiling people along the route. We had lunch on the Col d'Aspin, enjoying a magnificent view of the Pyrenees. We then headed for the finish at Peyragude, a fairly steep climb, where I watched the champions climb the slope in the magnificent atmosphere of the Tour. It was a dream day for an enthusiast like me, with lots of memories, especially as it was my birthday.
