KQED’s award-winning Voter Guide is back, but this year, we’ve done something new: cover every election in the 9-county Bay Area.
If you’re voting in the Bay Area, we have got you covered, whether it’s a parcel tax, school board seat, city council seat, California’s next U.S. Senator or the country’s next president. Learn about measures and candidates’ positions; find out what proponents and opponents of statewide propositions have to say; see how much money they’re spending to support their cause.
We serve our community by making information about the election easy to understand, accessible and free for the public. We have a team of about 100 reporters, editors and producers working to inform you about the local, state and national races you’ll vote on by Election Day on Tuesday, November 5th.
At the heart of our coverage is our expanded 2024 Voter Guide, available in English and Spanish. Our journalists interviewed candidates, checked facts and gathered information from local elections office to help you better understand local and statewide propositions, unpack ballot measure arguments and compare positions of candidates running for state and local seats.
Tune in to KQED Public Radio 88.5 FM and stream or download KQED podcasts on the KQED App to hear our reporters analyze and explain ballot measures as well as interview candidates vying for office. Bay Curious and The Bay return with the popular Prop Fest series, in which reporters explain the nuances of ballot measures.
