| The live stream of Primavera Sound and Red Bull TV will bring together 220 professionals to offer over 50 hours of coverage An exclusive live programme of concerts, interviews and “behind the scenes” footage will bring the festival to audiences all around the world Music lovers have reserved their front row seat so as not to miss one single moment of everything that will be going on at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona from the 1st to 3rd June. For the second consecutive year, the main concerts of Primavera Sound will reverberate across screens all around the world thanks to the live stream by Red Bull TV, which in its 2016 debut obtained over 360,000 views and which is designed to provide a different perspective on a unique festival. The numbers themselves reflect the magnitude of the project: a crew made up of 220 professionals who will join forces to offer over 50 hours of multi-channel transmission of the highest audio and video quality. In total 20 kilometres of fibre optic will be laid down and 30 cameras will be used, coordinated by three creative directors specialised in live music; Paul Dugdale (The Prodigy: World’s on Fire, Adele: Live at the Royal Albert Hall), Liz Claire (BRIT Awards) and Tom George (Mercury Music Prize). The sound will be overseen by the company Red TX directed by one of the most reputable sound engineers in the world and Emmy winner Tim Summerhayes. Last year’s team of presenters Will Best from the UK and the versatile Johann Wald will be joined this year by Julie Adenuga- DJ for Beats 1 and sister of the new King of Grime, Skepta. A very complete programme covering a wide selection of concerts, short acoustic shows and interviews with the protagonists will offer a new vision of the event that can be seen live and in replay until next day, at the beginning of the following live emission. Also, a compilation of the best moments will be available subsequently as free a la carte video content. The transmission can be followed on the festival’s and Red Bull TV’s web sites, as well as on all its associated platforms (mobile telephones, tablets, game consoles, OTT and Smart TVs). |
