Good morning. Here's a rundown of all the latest news on the aftermath of Hurricane Ida:

School re-openings: Many schools in and around Baton Rouge will be reopening today or tomorrow. But to the east, where Ida hit hardest, it could be another week before students head back to school. We've got a list of re-opening plans here.

Debris pickup: Ida's roaring winds knocked down countless trees and branches throughout our area. The pickup effort starts today and could take many weeks; this story has the details.

Gas lines: Other than mass power outages, the biggest problem Ida caused was hours-long lines to get gas. Those lines have largely gone away in Baton Rouge, but in some other parts of South Louisiana it's still an enormous problem. This story explains where and why.

Thanks for reading, and have a great day!
