Hesitancy is fading fast as adoption accelerates
While some hesitancy around generative AI remains, it has eased – from 35% of legal professionals expressing concern in 2024 to 24% this year, according to a Thomson Reuters Institute survey. |
The pace of change is accelerating: currently, only 15% of law firms say GenAI is central to their workflow, but that’s expected to rise to 95% within five years. If the jury is still out on GenAI’s place in legal work, it’s clear that deliberations are ending. Firms that embrace this shift now – by building strategy, training their teams and measuring impact – will lead the market tomorrow. |
