The series incorporates both human and animal forms drawn from memories of growing up around the creeks of Portsmouth Harbour. Seagulls,fish and working characters of the dockyards echo throughout the pieces which embody a symbology of the maritime. The coptic like golds and silvers are weathered, burnished and eroded.
