🌅 Good morning!

Summer is almost here, so if you're looking for farmers markets to get fresh, local produce near you this summer, Valerie Jones has got you covered.

She made a list of all the farmers markets around Utah, including when they’ll open and where to find them.

Also feel free to peruse this list of events around the state to fill your summer days with fun festivals with family or friends.

Ballerina Farm Store brings local and global goods to Midway

Hannah Neeleman has been to rural France and to an Irish cooking school for her work, but for her, the best part of her job is that she gets to work with her family at home in Utah.

“We’re a family first, and that’s what’s most important to me,” Hannah said. “Working with Daniel ... and also having our kids close to us, that’s my favorite part about all of it.”

The opening of the Ballerina Farm Store

The Ballerina Farm Store, a grocery and cafe set to open in Midway on May 27, has been a labor of love in progress for several years, Ariel Harmer reported.

The new store will sell Ballerina Farm products alongside items from local and international vendors — items like fresh bread and baked goods will also be made in-house daily.

What the Ballerina Farm Store brings to Utah

The Ballerina Farm Store brings the world to Midway but still feels intensely local, thanks to the personal connection the Neelemans have to each of the items for sale, Harmer writes.

After falling in the lottery, Jazz remain a team without a centerpiece or a clear timeline for the rebuild

Getting pick No. 5 changes things for the Utah Jazz, that much is clear.

Had the Jazz come away from the 2025 lottery with the No. 1 overall pick, there would have been a centerpiece player on the roster and a clear vision for the future, Sarah Todd writes.

The extended future of the Jazz depends on their ability to find a star to build around, Todd writes.

That could still happen via trade, it could happen in next year’s draft and it is possible that the Jazz find a player with the fifth pick in the upcoming draft that turns into a bona fide NBA star. That’s something to hope for, not something to expect.
