NOT SO FAST: The Louisiana Supreme Court has changed its rules to make sure judges found to be abusing their office can't escape fines by quitting right before the hammer falls. Some suspended judges have used that tactic before, and the change is designed to prevent taxpayers from footing the bill for investigations that root out judicial wrongdoing.
MEET THE NEW BOSS: New Orleans native Colette Hirstius has taken over the top job at Shell Oil's local operations, where she oversees about 1,000 employees and about 476,000 barrels of oil production a day in the Gulf of Mexico.
