TRAVEL RUSH: Thanksgiving will be here soon, and if you're planning on flying out of Louis Armstrong International Airport, you probably already know what to expect. There are a few extra wrinkles this year because of issues related to the pandemic, but you'll still need to arrive early and be ready for long lines.
TAYSOM'S PAYDAY: All-purpose offensive player, aspiring starting quarterback and fan favorite Taysom Hill has agreed to a four-year contract extension with the New Orleans Saints that could pay him up to $95 million. The team, meanwhile, is banged up and on a short week ahead of its game Thanksgiving night against the Buffalo Bills. Tight end Adam Trautman will be out for several weeks.
BAYOU CLASSIC RETURNS: After facing off last year in Shreveport, the annual game between the Southern University Jaguars and the Grambling Tigers is coming back to New Orleans. You can read about what it means to the city here.
STATE POLICE SHOOTING: We have the latest on the man fatally shot by State Police and levee district officers at Airline Drive near Causeway Boulevard. The man was seen earlier walking around with a gun and a knife in Metairie.
