Some days are better than others. Like this Thursday, when Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Violent Soho and Baker Boy all released new songs in the space of an hour or so. Now that's a good day. Such a dump of great songs – and they are all great – is overwhelming at the best of times. Coming at the end of November, when we're more interested in reflecting on the year that was, rather than anticipating what's to come, feels almost cruel. How are you going with your favourite songs/albums of the year? It's never easy to cobble together a list, but it's pretty satisfying and sets you up with a great playlist for summer. We'll share our favourite music of the year over the next few weeks if you need some reminding of what's been great. |
