The British public has taken stoically to the national lockdown, but as those measures start to ease, many people have found themselves worried about returning to normal life. How big is the risk really and how much should you worry? Sarah Knapton, our Science Editor, puts the danger into context in this excellent analysis.
Part of the worry may stem from the rather confused messaging from the Government. What went wrong and why? Camilla Tominey argues that on everything from childcare to house cleaners, the mistakes could have been avoided if the exclusively male “war Cabinet” had listened to more women.
