Ann Arbor residents on Main Street Sunday afternoon could hear FestiFools before they saw it. Loud drums and live music paraded through the city, interspersed with thousands of people who gathered to watch the event.
For the 11th year in a row, FestiFools took over the streets of downtown Ann Arbor. This yearâs theme, âWishFool Thinking,â produced hundreds of giant puppet floats â from a giant bird made entirely out of balloons to President Donald Trump wearing a bib emblazoned with the Twitter logo.

Sunday, the 11th annual FestiFools parade took over the streets of downtown Ann Arbor. The Michigan softball team fell at the hands of Ohio State, 5-0, Sunday. SportsMonday reflects on the friendship between Michigan football's Andrew Robinson and Dymonte Thomas. Saturday, over 3,500 students, faculty and alumni filled Hill Auditorium for the University's True Blue! event. Finally, MUSIC Matters released the festivalâs entire lineup before its scheduled Friday kickoff.

In its first time being shutout in over a month, No. 18 Michigan fell, 5-0, at the hands of the 25th-ranked Buckeyes.
Andrew Robinson and Dymonte Thomas â a redshirt sophomore long snapper and senior starting safety, respectively â met in the north end zone, took a knee, locked arms and prayed before every football game last season.
Several distinguished alumni, including Sanjay Gupta, chief medical correspondent for CNN, actor Darren Criss and Cecilia Muñoz, former director for White House Domestic Policy Council, each touched on their own personal connections to the University of Michigan at the True Blue! event Saturday night.Â
The full list of performers and events for the Unviersity of Michiganâs SpringFest were released Wednesday, including Canadian rapper SonReal and a slate of Detroit-focused programming.
The fifth annual SpringFest, hosted by MUSIC Matters, will take place Wednesday, April 13th. The day-long festival aims to encompass all things Michigan, with activities on the Diag and an evening charity concert featuring hip-hop group Migos.
