Congress is trying to address national issues related to the coronavirus even as it struggles with pandemic-related challenges of its own, such as how to securely conduct remote hearings and votes -- procedures that one lawmaker described as a "high-value target" for hackers. Workarounds under consideration include the possibility of letting a handful of lawmakers cast ballots for absent colleagues and having meetings on Facebook or via webcast.
