Comedian and broadcaster Veronica Milsom loves shopping, but not long ago, she started to get a bad feeling about it.
Every time a package arrived at her door or she walked out of a shop, bags brimming, her usual shopping high was replaced by a sneaking suspicion that she was contributing to a major problem.
After all, the average Australian buys 56 items of clothing a year. And we wear each item around seven times before throwing it out.
So Veronica decided to pull on a thread — and what she unravelled challenged everything she thought she knew about the fashion industry.
