20 years of protecting the public interest The College is celebrating 20 years of regulatory excellence. Discover the different ways in which the College has been setting the standard for great teaching in Ontario for two decades. |
| | Student art exhibition More than 70 schools in Ontario participated in a student art exhibition to commemorate the College’s 20th anniversary. Students created their art based on four themes: what they love about school; favourite subject; what they want to learn; and if they were a teacher. See a selection here.

Test your knowledge! Myth or Fact: The College has the authority to decide whether a university can offer teacher education programs. Fact: Universities determine which programs to offer and set their own admission standards and degree requirements. The College has the authority to ensure that teacher education programs meet regulatory requirements for accreditation. |
| | Engaging the public This summer the College will hold focus groups with members of the public in Ottawa, Kingston, London, Sudbury, Toronto, and St. Catharines. The purpose is to gauge the public’s knowledge of the College’s mandate, gain insight into preferred topics for professional advice to teachers, and to receive feedback from the public we serve on the accessibility of our services. |
