PUBLIC BAR Tucked away underneath the city’s Victorian-era Town Hall, and located within the site of a former mens’ toilet, Public has received numerous accolades since first opening a few years ago.
The venue has previously been named the ‘best place to drink’ in The Observer’s Food Monthly Awards, as well as winning the title of the UK’s Best Bar Food at the Class Awards and is rarely off the annual awards list.
Public is dedicated to excellence in all that it does, having a great reputation nationally for the strength of its drinks list, it also has regularly garners awards for the small plate food offering too. It’s really very impressive, especially given the size of the venue. It’s all comes down to the creativity and passion of the team. |
