A recent paper by the US Department of the Treasury aired concerns about banks embracing cloud computing, mainly for data transparency and security reasons. In doing so, says Oracle’s Bob Thome, the US government is also reaffirming why Oracle Cloud@Customer, an on-premises version of Oracle Cloud, is often a better model for financial services companies.
