| With Roe v. Wade potentially being challenged by the Supreme court in the coming months, states are rushing to implement new legislation. This week, Oklahoma passed a near-total ban on abortion except in cases where the pregnant woman's life is in danger. On the other side, a bill was introduced this week in the state of California that would guarantee the right to abortion through every stage of pregnancy, even up to birth. At the same time, the Governor of Michigan is filing suit to protect abortion in the state in the event that Roe v. Wade is overturned. There has never been a more critical time in history to stand for the unborn. The Chief Executive of Planned Parenthood, Alexis McGill Johnson, acknowledged the danger that the abortion industry is currently facing when they received a $275 million donation from MacKenzie Scott. She responded by saying: “As we face the most serious attacks on access to abortion that we’ve seen in a generation, PPFA is proud to play a vital role in ensuring access to essential healthcare.” |
