Filmmaker and photographer, Motagu Fendt, was inspired by a visit to Centre Pompidou in Paris and set about attempting to craft an entirely new way to approach photography. In awe of Picasso’s cubism, Tinguely’s kinetic art, Kandinsky’s expressionism and Newman’s huge abstract canvases, Fendt got seriously experimental and broke new ground.
