ICYMI, Sunday Riley permanently slashed the price of its best-selling product

Sunday Riley, the brand known for pricey but popular products like the Blue Moon Tranquility Cleansing Balm and Luna Retinol Sleeping Night Oil, just dropped the price of its cult-favorite Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment. The product exfoliates skin and is meant to help with the appearance of age spots and discoloration.

Elite Daily was the first to report that Sunday Riley would drop the price of its beloved Good Genes by 20% starting earlier this week. The 1-ounce bottle is now $85 (originally $105) and the 1.7-ounce, value-sized bottle is now $122 (originally $158).

Sunday Riley also has plans to update the formula with "greener alternatives" and has contemplated adjusting prices for a while now.

“All of the good stuff (including the actives) remains the same,” brand founder Sunday Riley said in a press release.
